Free 1-Year Guarantee
Choose Longhorn professional installation and your set comes with a FREE 1-year guarantee at no extra charge. We repair functional defects on the machine(s) we install, under normal household use, for one full year from the delivery date. One call and it's handled.
Front-load: Front-load washers and any set that includes a front-load washer are covered for 60 days. Top-load washers, all dryers, and top-load sets get the full year.

Is the Lifetime Trade-Up really free?
Yes. Every set we install includes it at no extra cost — along with our free 1-year guarantee (60 days on front-load).
What does "lifetime" mean?
It covers the life of your ownership of the unit, for as long as Longhorn is operating. It's a loyalty credit toward your next set — non-transferable to other people or addresses.
What's the difference between the trade-up and the guarantee?
The trade-up helps you replace the unit at the end of its life. The free 1-year guarantee covers repairs of functional defects in the first year (60 days on front-load). Different jobs — they stack.
Do I have to use Longhorn install to be covered?
Yes. Both programs require our $150 installation. Self-pickup and third-party installs are sold as-is with a liability release.
What voids coverage?
Misuse, abuse, neglect, improper hookups not done by us, relocation outside our service area, commercial/rental overuse, or unauthorized third-party repairs.
How do I make a claim?

Free 1-Year Guarantee — Included with Professional Installation
When you add Longhorn professional installation ($150), your washer and/or dryer is covered by a free 1-year guarantee from the delivery date — at no extra charge. Front-load washers and front-load sets are covered for 60 days; everything else for a full year. Covered: repair of functional defects on the machine(s) we install, under normal household use. Repair-only. No refunds; all sales final. Not covered: sets picked up by the customer or installed by a third party; cosmetic wear; damage from misuse, overloading, or improper hookup; gas line connections (we do not connect gas). Lifetime Trade-Up
Every washer, dryer, or set purchased from and installed by Longhorn includes a Lifetime Trade-Up: a discretionary loyalty credit ($75) toward a replacement refurbished unit or set of equal or greater value purchased from and installed by Longhorn. We haul away the replaced unit at no charge. The credit is for the original purchaser only, while the unit remains in our service area; it is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, not combinable with other discounts, and limited to one active credit per unit. "Lifetime" means the life of the original customer's ownership of the unit, for as long as Longhorn is operating. Void if the unit is relocated outside our service area; damaged by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper power/water/venting, or unauthorized third-party repair; used in a commercial or rental setting beyond normal residential wear; or the original installation guarantee terms are breached.
